Subject: PrintBoss and Window X
This is the first reported issue of PrintBoss not migrating from Windows 8.1 to Windows X. Here are some ideas on what to check:

1. When you installed the PrintBoss printer driver, did you run setup.exe as Admin? Go to your PrintBoss folder, right-click on setup.exe and choose the option 'Run As Administrator.' This should give you full rights.

2. Even running setup as Administrator, sometimes the User account does not get full rights for the Transfer folder and Spool directory. Go to C:\Program Data\Wellspring. Verify that the User account has Full Control rights.

3. In QuickBooks, verify your printer setup. Go to QB; File; Printer Setup; Checks\Paychecks. The settings should be:

Printer: PrintBoss50
Check Style: Voucher
Check the box: “Print Company Name and Address on Check”

I just upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 and suddenly PrintBoss won't print checks. I have checked everything and no other program seems to be having problems. Our firm handles four nonprofits and this is important.
