Hi, I am using Sage 50 Premium with my printboss cheques, and I wanted to change the date so it's clear on everything, however, when I printed my cheques I got 3 dates of 12-30-1899 instead of 01-Oct-2018....after much playing with my sage settings, I finally set it like this: short date format MM dd yyyy ie - 10/07/2018 and long date as MMM dd,yyyy ie - Oct 07, 2018 and in the area which states "on screen, use:" I chose Long Dates and "in reports, use: Short Dates. My cheque dates became correct and printed as usual.....not going to mess with the dates anymore....lost time messing with it to fix and now know a lil more than I wanted to. I hope these words help someone else figure this silliness out (:

To troubleshoot, you will want to look at the data coming from QBO. To do that, go to the Work File view, right click and choose 'View Raw Capture.' Note what format the of the date. Next exit the 'Raw Cpature' and double click on December 30, 1899. This will open the Object Properties box. Change the date input format to the new one shown in the 'Raw Capture' view. This should fix it, as long as the date format doesn't change again.

HI There... I am using QBO, everything has been working fine... no changes to my system, but date is now printing December 30, 1899.. I have looked at the file, but cannot see anything that could be different.

Thanks

Most likely the Windows short date format is different for this user. You can check this by viewing the underlying data from MS Dynamics GP.
To do that, go to the Work File view, right click and choose 'View Raw Capture.' If you do this on one workstation that is printing correctly, and the one that is not, you will likely see the date formats are different. Make both formats the same and it should work for both.

I have a user that when printing cheques the date on the cheque is December 30, 1899. Other users can print the same batch and the date on the cheque shows up correctly. Any ideas as to what could be causing this problem?
We are PrintBoss version 6.0.1.0 and the host accounting software is Microsoft Dynamics GP version 14.00.1079 (r2), language/country is set to English-Canada. The operating system is Windows 10. Print Boss is installed on the PC.
Thanks in advance
Brenda
