Hi Paula,

I tried to disable "Can grow" and everything works great. But I need this option in my report.

Do you plan to fix that soon?

Thanks!

Hi, Paula.

The Crystal Report field for the Payee Name does not have a check in the box CAN GROW.

The field for the payee name is using this formula:

if {@align} then
ReplicateString("X", 20)
else
{BKREG.PAYEENAME}

I do not recall anyone else reporting this issues in Windows 7. Here are a couple of suggestions to try:

1. The crystal report fields cannot be set to Can Grow
2. The data must be entered as a formula

The PDF indicates you are using a formula or field and not straight text. Perhaps the first suggestion will work. Meanwhile, we will set up a virtual machine to test this further.

My client recently upgraded to PrintBoss 5.70.7 and from Windows XP Professional to Windows 7 desktop.

After the upgrade, their French character is not printing properly.

For example, the French Character É in the payee name DÉBUT ART LTD (CAN) is printing as a comma (D,BUT ART LTD (CAN)) see attached cheque printout from PrintBoss. It used to print properly in the previous version on a Windows XP workstation.

It looks like a Windows 7 issue because I tested it from their Terminal Server and the French character printed correctly.

Any idea how we can fix this problem on a windows 7 PC?

Thanks,
