It appears the settings were not letting go of my previous settings. I zeroed out all the fields, selected the Gmail Prefill Settings, then I entered my credentials and it worked. You can also verify the settings by locating the PrntBoss folder an navigating to Email\Settings\Hosts.ini. This file holds the selections from the SMTP / Mail Hosts tab. The password is encrypted, but you can review the rest of the settings to make sure it is saving correctly. Best Regards, Paula Manker

Try again after Blanking out the password to see if no password is required.
The username and password we are using have been used to log in successfully to the gmail account so I wondering if there is any other reason behind this error message? The gmail settings have also been set so that “less secure apps” is enabled. Thanks, Sam
