Two reasons why scrambled data may appear in (or be printed by) PrintBoss:

1. The destination driver font needs to be updated or replaced
2. The Line Printer font needs to be updated or replaced

It is possible the LP font is corrupted or no longer working properly. The LP (Line Printer) font is used with Microsoft Dynamics GP since it is a fixed width font. The replacement for this font (since it no longer ships with new operating systems) is Letter Gothic (LG or Lc).

If it is not present on the workstation, a replacement font is stored in the PrintBoss Home Dir\Forms\Standard\Fonts.

Good Morning
Bad news! Same problem again - below are the comments from the customer. This only happens with one user on one workstation.

July 25 - Carmen printed the "checks" (remittances), after the 6th check, she got the symbols again. IT - reloaded the drivers again

July 26 - 10 test checks printed fine today as they did last week after Kenny reinstalled the print driver. Yesterday as she was printing her direct deposit checks, the first 5 printed fine, but the 6th and subsequent checks did not print correctly, just symbols. When she tried to reprint, the symbols start printing with the 3rd check. Which was the original problem. Since she typically only prints one or two checks per account, we did not realize this was an ongoing problem until recently.
it seems to be a problem starting with the 5th check in her batch. If she only prints one or two checks, it seems to be fine.

Any suggestions?
