The first thing your client should do is update their copy of PrintBoss as we updated the TIFF file properties in December, 2011. Next, add a PDF copy to the PrintBoss form as follows: 1. Open the PrintBoss Master Application. 2. Click on the Edit menu and choose Form Files. 3. Select the desired Timberline form and click the Editor button. 4. Increase the number of Copies on the Settings tab by 1. For example, if it is set to 0, type 1. If it is set to 1, type 2, etc. 5. Select the Multi-Parts & Printers tab. 6. Change the ‘Destination Printer/Device’ for the new copy to PDF File. 7. Select the PDF tab that appears at the top of the window after step 6. 8. Click on the File Type drop down menu and select TIFF. 9. Select the following under the TIFF File Properties section: 9a. Compression Method – No Compression, All Colors 9b. Resolution (DPI) – 300 9c. Select the appropriate grayscale or color setting 10. Enter the Destination path and file name to match what Timberscan expects. 11. Click OK to save these changes. Tech Support is happy to help with the TIFF file creation if you have any questions. We know it is working at another client site. They have the Enterprise Edition of PrintBoss so they can dynamically name the files as well.

Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2012 10:00 AM To: PrintBoss Support Subject: TimberScan and PrintBoss My client has started using TimberScan and would like to match their invoices with the check copy. They would like to create an electronic file of checks to match to TimberScan. How do you set that up?
