The proper PrintBoss 50 driver for use with Windows 7 or 8 will load automatically with any version of PrintBoss dated after March 2010. You can check the date of the version of PrintBoss you have installed by going to the Help\About screen.
For the printers, we recommend PCL5e or PCL6 printer drivers. These can be obtained via an internet search of your printer model.

These are the recommended PrintBoss Driver Settings for Windows 7 workstations:
Transfer Folder/File: The default folder path and file name are {ComAppData\...\Transfer} \ {WinUserName} PB 50 Driver Spool Dir: The default setting (except for Win2000) is {ComAppData\...\ Spool}

Yes, PrintBoss is compatible with Windows 7 machines. There is however a problem with the PrintBoss 50 printer driver dated 2/18/2010 which is used with Windows 7 and Vista PCs. There is a fix for that driver dated 2/24/2010.
If you have installed the 2/18/2010 driver perform the following steps: 1. Delete the printer driver from the Windows printer list; 2. Reboot the machine; 3. Update PrintBoss and the new driver will install automatically.
To determine what version of the PrintBoss driver you have installed, open PrintBoss to the Master Application and choose Help/About. The drivers are listed under 'Version Info.' The PrintBoss 50 driver is PB50ui.dll. edited by Nancy on 2/21/2011

Is Print Boss compatible with Windows 7 machines? We have a client that updated their PC to W7 and might have run into an issue.
