PrintBoss does not have pre-configured specs for Bank of Montreal. An EFT file needs to be created from scratch using the Positive Pay functions included in the PrintBoss software. The ACH and Miscellaneous fields in the bank record can be used to store bank specific information. Recipient specific information, such as account numbers, can be stored in the Payee List. The Payee List needs to be attached to the Bank Record through the ACH tab of the Bank Record. The rest of the information will be pulled from a check run printed to PrintBoss. Additional fields may need to be assigned in the PrintBoss Form to capture all the required information.
The ACH Processing documents located under the How To folder on the Support Documents page of our web site may be helpful in providing information on how to setup the Payee List and PrintBoss Bank Record to process an EFT file.

I have experience with EFT spec files with Payroll, have not done a Positive Pay file spec for any bank, understand how to configure a bank for positive pay. I am not sure if Printboss creates pre-configured specs for Bank of Montreal by inputing the codes provided by the bank. Or do we also further have to edit using "specification format editor" to match bank's spec.

Current positive pay profile using Accpac's company one' Bank linked with TDBank ACH file
can I Printboss generate same ACH file spec for Bank of Montreal linked with company two in Accpac?
In other words, to your knowledge does TD Bank and Bank of Montreal follow the same standard NACHA specifications?
Do I have to do a custom field layout based on B of Montreal positive pay spec?
