Error - Printer is not currently printing

Hi,

We have a lot of things printing/emailing off of printboss. When I come into work in the mornings often there is an error that states "Printer is not currently printing" but the form that this error appears on doesn't event print to a printer, it strictly emails. I have to close down printboss and restart it, but then I loose everything that's in the printing queue.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this? It's happened three mornings in a row now, it all started after a black out due to a thunderstorm. Not sure if that is relevant but I thought I would mention it.

Thank you for the response. Fortunately/Unfortunately the error hasn't occurred again so I can't check the mail server for any errors. This definitely sounds like it would be the problem though.

Error - Access Denied trying to erase

Hi,

I am not very familiar with PrintBoss. An error occurs when printing on of my forms but only sometimes, not very often. The error reads: Access Denied trying to erase C:\PrntBoss\Transferms2\Transferms6.$$$ File Capture Being discontinued.


Anyway I can stop this from occurring?

Data Being Shifted

We have a lot of reports running through PrintBoss. Yesterday seemingly at random all of the reports started shifting the data up to the left. In some cases cutting off completely. None of the settings have changed. None of the graphics created through PrintBoss shifted, just the raw data passed.

Is there a setting somewhere or a registry key that can be adjusted to fix this?

The report is printing portrait, although I don't think the issue is report specific since it happened to all of our reports(20+) at once.
I also deleted/re-installed the printer & printer driver and it's still doing it.

Something I did to test was I printed the raw data to a PDF then printed the PDF through printboss manually. This helped a bit but is still off. I don't know why printing it via an application & manually through adobe would be different. Maybe that's a hint as to what is wrong?

Same result when selecting different printers through printboss. Positions of items are fine when printing to a printer directly.
