8/5/2010 Topic: is a full page image possible on a printboss form? raydana	I have some questions about a quick down and dirty idea to get our existing packing slips up and running. We were buying preprinted 3 color NCR packing slips. We were basically just using a blank form in printboss and having printboss print out the 3 pages we use. We want to get away from the preprinted ncr paper and just use plain NCR and use printboss to print the form we use. I need to get up to speed on learning to use the form designer to do this. In the mean time we are getting low on our preprinted stock. I was wondering if it is feasable to create a form and have a full page image placed on it that has all our lines, boxes etc. We have our forms in illustrator and I already have a PCX, 300dpi, monochrome full page image ready to try this out. The file is about 1mb. 1. So is this even possible, will printboss print the data and the form background together? 2. If it works, is a 1mb file too large, and will the printing from accpac be too slow? 3. We are on version 5.11, the manual I have says the only formats are PCX and BMP (and sig), but looking online I see JPG is an option, is this something that came in an later version or will our version support jpg too?

If the full screen image thing works acceptably, then I wont have to bother at all.
2/2/2011 Topic: Form Margins raydana	Seems like there is a .25 inch margin hard coded into the form files? The form editor will let you place object, or part of object inside this margin area, but when you print, the object is forced back into the printable region. I know the printer im using can print in this area, but i cant figure out how to do it in printboss.

4/24/2015 Topic: printboss in virtualbox error raydana	Running printboss 5.11 on sage accpac 5.3 in windows xp for many years without problems. connecting to an old win 2k server got some new win 8 64 bit boxes. Running in a virtualbox windows xp vm. Accpac runs fine, reports load and print. Trying to print from printboss and now getting the following error The batch of documents sent to Printboss doesnt have a flag appearing anywhere in the document (PB#INFO ..... screenshot is not letting me attach, In it you can see the flags in the document right abox the error message. These are existing and working documents and print fine in a native xp machine. Please help, i was rolling these boxes out for the entire company and just screeched to a halt. Thanks Ray
