This error normally occurs when a user does not have Full Control security to the PrntBoss folder. Other causes are: 1. Permissions - If the user is in a group, try entering the user separately with Full Control on the PrintBoss folder. Is Shares are applied to the folder, Share Permissions must be Read/Write as well.
2. Antivirus software - Exclude the PrintBoss folder from the Antivirus software.
3. If this is Windows 7, verify the current version of the Printer Driver is used (2/24/2010). Also check the Task Manager Processes tab for hpmupXXX.bin. This is an HP driver process that holds open the PrintBoss Work File in Windows 7 which has been fixed in later versions of PrintBoss.
