Stefan, we've found that often it is user permissions that prevents PrintBoss from processing properly. Each user must have full-control privileges and access to the transfer folder location as well.

Ok.. more information on this.
I just ran the install, but ran it into a local directory and a fresh install AND set it to 30 day demo mode. NOW it works! The application loaded in about 10 seconds, and isn't hanging or any other problems, at least thus far.
This appears to be related to when the app is running from a network share, and not as a pure local install. Now granted, I am new to my company support team, but the normal install from the network is what is standard, and apparently how everyone else has it running. What is odd though is that it is failing on 3 seperate machines, yet this final test of truly installing local now works properly.

Howdy all!

Forgive some newbie questions.. I have installed the Printboss client with no errors or issues, but when I run it, it hangs continously. I launch the app, and I get the application frame, but if I click on it I get the application not responding message. If I let it sit for a long time (3-5min) it will fully launch showing the main window populated with info, and the tool chrome of file and other drop down options, but if I click on them the app hangs again for 2-5 minutes.

top part of the window reads "PrintBoss 5" and in the center "Master application". I can move the application window around, but any action with the actual program or content inside the window, it will lock up again.

Any suggestions? Tried this on 3 different Windows XPsp3 machines and run into the same problem every time. I also have noticed that the application is not shown in "add remove programs" on any of the machines. the application icon points to a network resourse, but even copying the entire printboss folder local doesnt help and does the same thing.
