Timberline - printing Zero $ checks

Subject: Print Zero Checks
I am using Timberline TL_AP5 for one of my clients. I would like to find out how to print zero checks.
Meaning, overflow checks when there are too many invoices to fit on 1 check, timberline sends a zero check, or if I enter a credit memo and an invoice in the same amount and the net check of zero is created. The form is getting created as I can view it in the workfile, however, I cannot get Printboss to print the document. I also cannot find where in the software I could change that option to print zero documents.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am looking at designing a form that will review the items on an invoice and attach MSDS sheets for any of the items that may require one. I know that we can email additional attachments with the enterprise version of Printboss, but I am stuck about how to accomplish this for invoices that will be printed instead.
Is there any equivalent function for printed documents to ‘#Assign EmailAttachments’ so that additional pages could be printed with the invoice in the same way documents are appended to email attachments? Am I stuck converting the MSDS PDF files to images and building some logic to enable/disable as many extra copies as the invoice requires MSDS sheets? Hopefully there is a better way, and I’d appreciate any thoughts you might have on the topic! Thanks,

Hello Paula, Hope all is well with you and that you are looking forward to Thanksgiving!

You were dealing with Rob here at our office regarding a memory issue when trying to print a Crystal report with PrintBoss. You and Rob discussed moving the graphic out of the Crystal report and into the PrintBoss Form file. I was wondering which was better: to reference the graphic in the form file or embedding the graphic into the form file? Is one way quicker than the other? What are the pros and cons of these methods?

Hi, Paula, I can't believe no one has ever asked me this one before… if you are using the fax service through PrintBoss, do you need to put the 1 at the beginning of the number in Accpac? Will it fax properly without the 1 as part of the number?

Hi I am testing a trial version of the latest version of print boss. I open a Crystal file with VB.Net and need to print the report to Printboss for proper redistribution. If I print the same crystal from our accounting package it works. But when I send the print job through the Custom Coded application, printboss does not even acknowledge the print job.’ Is this normal?

Hi, Our customer would like to print cheques in English and French within the same batch. The vendors have been clearly identified on the vendor master file what language to use on the cheque. The customer is using ACCPAC v2012 and the latest version of Printboss. Is there a recommended procedure to do this with PrintBoss? Do you have any French Printboss templates? Your help is appreciated.

Hi, I work with one of your clients, Merola Sales Company, and they had a request to output a report on different trays per page. To clarify, the first page would always go to Tray1 for example and all the other pages go to Tray 2. Is this something we can do with PrintBoss? Thanks

We are interested in placing the signature key file that currently resides on a USB drive, onto our server, so that we eliminate some connection issues we are having. Paula has said that Wellspring can help us with this task, however, I need to be able to provide security details to my Finance directors so that they are comfortable with the new setup. Please let me know what changes will be made to the server and to security settings so that our Finance team will know that the signature key file will be in a secure location. We will need to pass this information onto our internal audit team as well, so the more details the better. Thanks

We have a client we work with in Virginia and we print checks through a printshare program to a printer up there. At my firm there are three people who work on the account, so any one of them may need to print checks. How is the software handled in this situation. Do I have to have three licenses for $150 a piece?

The client prints batches of Statements. Several customers have overflow pages. To save paper, they would like to print duplex.
However, the printer treats all pages as duplex instead of only duplexing those with the same DocNo.

Hello, When printing to PrintBoss and emailing information sometimes the attachment comes through as PDF and other times as unknown format. This is very upsetting to our customers and suppliers. Not sure if there is a fix for this. Thank you,

Hello, Could you call me to clarify what can be done in terms of email body with PrintBoss? So far we configured the body globally in Printboss email Setting or in the ini file by user, because our clients want html pages with several logos.

But we have a situation where we need 2 different body messages for 2 different forms, and I would like to avoid giving him the procedure where he has to change the settings each time.

If I put #Assign EmailSubject and #Assign EmailBody in the form, I understand it should overwrite the html in the Email Setting; can I still put a logo and some formatting? What are the options there?

Hello .. I’m using Print Boss at a client site to create an ACH file, and a positive pay file. This is working flawlessly, until a few weeks ago, when one of the ACH people on the payee list stopped getting an ACH and began receiving a regular check. Can you point me a direction to troubleshoot the issue? I’ve looked at the vendor email and vendor name ..
