We have installed PrintBoss and Sage and have done some testing. The issue that is coming up is when the print job is sent to the printer, an error shows up on the printer (Not in windows or in any software). When they say ok to the error it prints the cheque but the alignment is off (1/2" lower than should be). Have you guys run into any compatibility with this printer and windows 8? They have just paid for support and upgraded PrintBoss to the newest version. The company is xx. If I am missing any information please let me know. Thanks!

6/26/2014 Topic: PB trigger formula for PrintBossMisc email submissions Administrator	Sent: Tuesday, June 04, 2013 10:13 AM Hi Paula, This is what I found in the document that you sent: A "PrintBossMisc" formula is required in the PrintBossTrigger, even if you are not using the miscellaneous field. The syntax of the formula in these cases should be a space between quotes. Do not enter two quotes without the space. The space is also required. I expect that this would be the reason that the formula was created that way and entered into the pb#info line. I have now removed it from many forms. Should I continue to remove it?

I cannot see where to change the style of the check in Quickbooks to be “check on the bottom w/2 stubs on the top” instead of “check on the top w/2 stubs on the bottom”. I tried to call Quickbooks to see how to change this but the tech I talked to said that this cannot be customized. I am under the impression that you have several customers that use Quickbooks and use your check on the bottom style so I am asking you to tell me how I can change my Quickbooks to use your style of checks. For paychecks, however, I use Intuit Online Payroll and I am not able to get it to work. I don't know how similar this is to Quickbooks Online which you apparently do support. This is my only hesitation to purchasing a license (I am using the 30-day trial version). Do you know if PrintBoss supports Intuit Online Payroll. If not, is there a way to print blank checks to use as a Intuit voucher check with the amounts and details completed by the Intuit software (so I could still use completely blank checkstock for payroll checks too)?

We have a couple of clients, as well as, ourselves that use print boss for our check and forms printing. I noted the installation/configuration notes in your support forum, that Cloud 9 will host printboss – Here’s our question – cloud 9 will only host PrintBoss on our server with one installation – So as far as we can tell, in this case, all licensed PrintBoss users, will use one copy under one serial number and will have access to other clients bank accounts – at least that is what we are being told by Cloud 9. Just doesn’t seem right. Does Printboss need to be hosted in the same location as the QB files – another words – can PrintBoss remain local? Please advise. Thanks

Just wondering if you have run into this before and if you have any suggestions. I know they could change the form to batch or Never and then go into the work file and print the email one portion at a time but was wondering if you have a better solution. (Other than the obvious scream a the provider until they change the setting on their server)

Printboss is working fine on the server, but when we went to update the workstation with the correct path, we are getting the registry error below. If we click retry, it does open PB correctly but gives the error every time you open PB. I checked the registry and the Dir value is correct. I have tried to update the registry manually, and rerun the workstation setup. Neither seems to get rid of the error. Please advise on how to fix this issue. Thank you,

The question is, we want to send an e-mail notification, without an attachment (just a notification stating that your paystub can be accessed “somewhere”, i.e. a location on the network). The PDF part will save the copy in that location. Is it possible to have the e-mail sent without the attachment? Not sure how to do this if possible. Thanks for your help!

We recently switched a user to a different computer due to the Windows user profile being corrupted on her old system. I believe PrintBoss was previously set up on the computer that she’s using now, but for a different user. We’re having an issue on the new computer with PrintBoss printing from Sage 50 where we’re getting an error about Warning 134: “Unable to create work database” (see attached screenshots). I know this isn’t a lot of information to go on, but I wondered if you might have any insight as to the cause of this issue; whether it’s a problem with administrative permissions in Windows, Printboss/Sage setup, etc. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
